ncgCARE is seeking an Entry-level Crisis Co-Responder Therapist in Bryson City, NC. The role partners with law enforcement to de-escalate behavioral health crises and conduct on-site assessments, linking individuals to community-based services and supports.

The position requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and an NC Associate license, with at least two years of related experience. Compensation aligns with responsibilities and contract parameters.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health required.
• Minimum Associate license in NC (LCSW-A, LCMHC-A, LMFTA, or equivalent).
• At least two years of behavioral health experience.
• Crisis response or law enforcement partnership experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Respond to behavioral health crisis calls with law enforcement and provide on-site clinical support.
• Conduct on-site crisis assessments focusing on suicide risk, substance use, psychosis, and SDOH.
• Coordinate care and link individuals to behavioral health treatment, housing, and resources.
• Provide short-term follow-up and care coordination to reduce repeat crises.
