Join The ECI Group's Professional Technical Services Network as a Project Engineer | CO Plant. This onsite contract role runs for an anticipated 12 months at our client's chemical facility in Waggaman, LA. You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

The Project Engineer ensures SMR and VPSA units are delivered on time and within budget, while overseeing startup, commissioning, and performance testing, collaborating with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; advanced degrees or certifications (PMP, LEED, etc.) are advantageous.
• 15–20+ years in Petrochem/Chemicals/Refinery construction, or project management.
• Basic process and operations knowledge of SMR and VPSA technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CO Plant equipment selection, delivery, construction, startup and commissioning at the Waggaman facility; review designs for reliability and maintainability of SMR and VPSA units.
• Lead projects from equipment selection through closeout, coordinating across phases.
