Job summary

ECI Group, based in Waggaman, LA, seeks a Project Engineer for the CO Plant to oversee SMR and VPSA units, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and startup readiness. The role requires extensive Petrochemical project experience and strong leadership in cross-functional teams.

The role is onsite for a 12–24 month duration at the client facility; US Citizenship or permanent resident status is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years in Petrochem/Chemicals/Refinery construction or project management.
• Experience in manufacturing and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CO Plant equipment selection, delivery, startup and commissioning.
• Lead project lifecycle from concept to closeout across multiple phases.
• Develop and control budgets; report on variances and status.
• Create detailed schedules; manage dependencies and resources.
• Coordinate procurement, contractor management, and change orders.
• Ensure safety, design quality and regulatory compliance.
