This onsite role involves collaboration with production and engineering on part measurements, supporting launch activities for new products, and applying SPPS and PTR processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Quality Engineering.
• Graduating between August 2027 and June 2029.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Willing to work in a plant environment.
• Enrolled in a co-op program through Kettering University or Rochester Institute of Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interact with production and engineering on part measurement results to assure quality and reliability.
• Ensure effective containment and resolution to identified non-conforming product.
• Communicate emerging issues daily to Quality Systems Manager.
• Coordinate repair, rework, and containment activities for identified spills.
• Validate supplier scrap.
• Work with SPPS process on supplier related issues.
• Support the PTR Process by running PTR’s and evaluating impact on the product / function.
• Support launch activities of new products.
• Support the implementation and effective adherence to all elements within GMS.
