Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op in the Atlanta area to contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of mechanical systems used in warehouse automation. This 4–6 month full-time co-op offers hands-on experience with components and systems for advanced automation technologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Eligible to participate in a 4 to 6-month full-time co-op program.
• Completed coursework in mechanics, machine design, materials, manufacturing, or related subjects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Create and update 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical system issues.
• Assist with engineering calculations, design evaluations, and product improvements.
• Support reliability, performance, and durability testing efforts.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, manufacturing, and field engineering teams on integrated solutions.
• Document test results, design changes, and engineering findings.
