Job summary

Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc. is seeking students for Co-op and Internship programs across 18 functions. Co-ops are 8 months full-time, while internships are 4 months part-time, with potential extensions. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate and production environments while applying your classroom knowledge.

Participants develop professionally through real-world projects, mentorship, and student-specific events, with opportunities to transition into full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior seeking a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent. 3.0+ GPA preferred.
• Be able to commit full-time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 months).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Capital Project Implementation: Assist in developing layouts for capital projects. Develop time studies for line balancing and setup reduction.
• Fabrication: Assist in new product and ECN implementation. Create programs for various lasers, plasmas, brakes and turret machines. Calculate cycle times.
• Assembly: Assist in developing and implementing Lean/DFT initiatives and automation programs. Assist in process documentation, workflow and work-content identification.
• Mainframe Factory and General Weld: Assist in the continual improvement of factory safety, quality, reliability and productivity. Assist in solution development and implementation.
• Paint line and Conveyor: Assist in implementing the Orange Powdered System and conveyor weight capacity project. Support continual improvement of paint quality and reduction of defects.
