Job summary

Philips is offering a 6‑month co-op in Electrical Engineering at its Latham, NY site. You will assist in designing, assembling, and testing electronic controllers and superconducting magnets, while troubleshooting PCB issues and documenting results.

Qualifications

Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Hands-on lab experience with testing protocols.
Familiarity with safety protocols in a lab.
Experience with 3D modeling and circuit/FEA tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in design, assembly, and testing of electronic controllers and superconducting magnets.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to PCBs.
Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement design solutions.
Conduct experiments to evaluate prototype performance and reliability.
Document test results and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
