Philips in Latham, NY offers an onsite internship/co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 in STET Mechanical Engineering. The role provides 3–6 months of paid, hands-on experience supporting the design, manufacture, validation, and continuous improvement of MRI magnet systems while you work with experienced engineers.

You will support mechanical engineering activities, collaborate across functions, help with docs, drawings, and data analysis, and gain shop-floor exposure and practical problem-solving

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with graduation after the internship.
• Strong mechanical design fundamentals and data analysis using Excel; CAD experience is a bonus.
• Experience with manufacturing processes or statistics is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support mechanical engineering and program activities for MRI magnet manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements.
• Assist with engineering documentation, drawings, validation, and data collection.
• Participate in shop-floor activities, trials, and data analysis under guidance.
