Job summary

ARCO National Holdings in Framingham, MA is seeking a Construction Project Manager Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027. The role supports estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, submittal reviews, billing, and site visits while pursuing a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural/Construction Management degree.

The 6–8 month full-time program offers housing support, an ESOP incentive, and a path to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Previous internship or Co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describe project proposals and assign dollar values
• Scheduling – create a working timeline for subcontractors and trades
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand proposals from structural engineers and architects
• Buyout – send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors; receive and evaluate proposals and award subcontracts
• Permitting – fill out permit forms, submit with drawings and fees, and send to city/county/fire for approval
• Shop Drawing and Submittal Review – review submittals and coordinate with PMs for material orders
• Billing – manage subcontracts, change orders, pay requests and pay applications
• Job Site Visits – accompany PMs to ensure project progress and smooth operation
