Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
• Must be enrolled for at least one semester after the co-op.
• Expected graduation May 2028 to Dec 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams in a lab.
• Willingness to learn new analytical techniques and follow safety practices.
• Commit to a 6-month co-op at AbbVie’s Waltham, MA site.

Responsibilities

• Support development and evaluation of analytical methods for biologics characterization.
• Perform laboratory experiments, including sample prep, instrument operation, and data collection.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and product quality attributes.
• Assist with characterization of ADCs and complex biologics using LC-MS and related platforms.
• Organize, visualize, and summarize results for discussions and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and follow lab procedures and safety.
