Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. invites a motivated undergraduate student to join its Corporate Safety Team in Atlanta as a Safety Co-op. You’ll assist in safety promotion, campaigns, and day-to-day activities while learning hands-on aviation safety programs.

You'll develop data-driven insights, create communications, and support leadership with presentations and reports. This 3-semester rotation (Summer 2027, Spring 2028, Fall 2028) is designed to build professional skills in a global airline.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution.
• At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
• Must be available to work on a full-time basis for 3 alternating semesters: Summer 2027, Spring 2028, and Fall 2028.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Promotion Manager with planning and executing safety campaigns, events and initiatives.
• Help create and maintain safety communications (emails, presentations, newsletters, and internal content).
• Organize and track safety data, reports, and project materials.
• Support preparation of presentations and reports for leadership and internal teams.
• Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate meetings, take notes, and track action items.
• Assist in maintaining internal safety tools, documentation, and SharePoint or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safety-related projects.
