You’ll collaborate with the team to deliver addiction treatment and support recovery for clients and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred.
• Illinois CADC certification or licensed in Illinois as LSW or LPC within 2 years of employment in substance use disorder.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, and adept at learning new software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance requirement.
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to prescribed work hours and fulfill additional hours as necessary to complete assigned responsibilities.
• Provide direct contact and counseling, including supervision and behavior management of clients, interventions and consequences.
• Implement therapeutic activities.
• Coordinate and supervise client recreational activities.
• Monitor clients with counselors to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
• Schedule and conduct individual sessions to assist clients with AA step work and treatment plan objectives.
• Coordinate and deliver lectures for clients, parents, and community resources with effective behavioral management.
• Ensure client service records comply with laws and regulations.
• Develop and present all client lectures listed on the client lecture schedule.
• Observe, monitor, and record group dynamics.
• Facilitate focal group discussion sessions.
• Perform general cleaning duties as needed.
• Consult with treatment team and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
• Read logs and obtain pertinent information from staff of previous shifts.
• Supervise tidiness of the unit and ensure equipment and supply usage; report shortages or repairs.
• As assigned, perform CLIA-waived laboratory testing and related QC activities per CLIA and procedures.
• Contribute as an integral member of the clinical team and participate in team meetings and activities.
• Adhere to Rosecrance Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Exercise confidentiality per professional Code of Conduct and law.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer.
• Represent the agency with positive guest relations and serve as a role model.
• Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
