Job summary

Gateway Rehab Center is seeking a PRN Treatment Support Technician to join the Co-Occurring team in Center Township, PA. You will assist with programming and help maintain a safe, structured milieu for residents under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years' experience in mental health or addiction services.
• PCB certification preferred.
• Some college is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates discussion groups and activities.
• Monitors patient behavior.
• Conducts handbook orientation.
• Conducts searches of patient belongings, rooms and person.
• Acts as liaison between clinical staff and patients.
• Assists with patient assessments and referrals.
• Assists with calls to family, referral sources, and staff.
• Provides crisis intervention when needed.
• Transports patients to meetings when applicable.
• Documents progress notes and activities.
• Collects urine and assists with drug screening paperwork.
