Job summary

Compass Health Network in Rolla, MO is seeking a Co-Occurring Disorders Counselor to join an ACT TAY program. You will deliver integrated, evidence-based care for clients with mental health and substance use challenges within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a High School/GED, bachelor’s or master’s degree, and relevant experience; a valid driver’s license and Missouri credentials are required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required unless approved by DMH.
• Master’s degree required if applying as a therapist.
• At least one year of training or supervised experience in substance use treatment is required.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum automobile coverage required.
• Qualified Addiction Professional credential (CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCDP, or CCJP – Missouri) OR Licensed Missouri therapist (PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, PLMFT).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized co‑occurring treatment using evidence‑based methods.
• Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments considering mental health and trauma histories.
• Offer individual and group counseling tailored to stage of change.
• Collaborate in creating and reviewing wellness plans as part of the ACT team.
• Cross‑train team members on dual diagnosis best practices and consult on complex cases.
• Participate in clinical supervision and daily team/treatment planning meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency policies.
