Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Co-Manager in California to support the General Manager, lead by example, and help the team deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will own store results, coach talent, and uphold RaceTrac's standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team: cultivate a guest-first culture; mentor Shift Managers and team members; empower teams by setting clear expectations; foster open communication across shifts.
• Support Operational Excellence: assist in executing store-level strategies to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability; monitor inventory levels and cash control; drive promotional execution and food service compliance.
• Champion Food Safety & Compliance: conduct regular food quality checks; ensure safety regulations and company policies; maintain documentation for audits.
• Drive Results Through Collaboration: analyze reports to identify trends; support scheduling and staffing with the GM; provide performance feedback and drive accountability.
