Job summary

Journeys in Las Cruces is seeking a proactive leader to assist the Store Manager and Manager In Training in recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing sales team. You will help drive store sales, protect assets, and ensure a superior customer experience in a fast-paced teen retail environment.

The role emphasizes internal promotion, team camaraderie, and a fun but professional atmosphere with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a retail team preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire, and train store staff.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Willingness to work 45 hours per week including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and MTI in hiring and training store personnel.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and standards of performance.
• Supervise daily store operations in the absence of management.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff.
• Support loss prevention practices and assets protection.
• Communicate store needs to management.
• Resolve customer issues and deliver a full-service experience.
