Qualifications

• Experience in leading store teams and managing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assists the store manager in implementing a sales-building culture and weekly plans across departments.
• Provides for customer satisfaction and front-end service commitment throughout the store.
• Aids in achieving budgeted financial results and assists in overall store performance.
• Protects company assets: merchandise, cash, facilities and equipment; conducts weekly audits on front-end and pricing.
• Controls store expenses, including wage cost management and budget adherence.
• Assists in staffing: forecasting needs, recruitment and staff development plans for hi-potential and promotable employees.
• Ensures team understands performance expectations and conducts regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Maintains awareness of store conditions through frequent store walks.
• Trains and develops store management, especially department managers, for growth and leadership bench.
• Ensures sanitation and food safety standards are maintained across the store.
• Creates a positive morale environment with strong supervisory leadership and customer focus.
• Provides effective communication to Store Manager, Field Merchandisers and staff.
• Ensures compliance with company standards and regulations; maintains a safe store environment.
