• Control store expenses, including wage percent; monitor variances.
• Assist staffing: forecasting, recruitment and training; develop hi-potential staff.
• Set performance expectations and coach staff; conduct reviews.
• Be attentive to store conditions via frequent store walks.
• Develop and mentor the store management team and department managers.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards across the store.
• Foster positive morale and a selling culture among employees.
• Communicate effectively with Store Manager and field staff.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
• Maintain a safe store environment for customers and employees.
