Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) for CNS to deliver clinical and health economic insights to KIs, LPLs, providers, and patient groups within the local ecosystem.

This field-based role aligns regional medical strategies with patient-centric objectives and may cover multiple CNS products. The MSL will build relationships, disseminate evidence, support trials, and mentor teams while navigating a dynamic healthcare landscape.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems and delivery of patient care with healthcare professionals and decision makers.
• Strong business acumen; knowledge of Otsuka’s model and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information about CNS diseases and product utilization.
• Engage with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, and healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
• Develop and execute local medical strategies with ecosystem partners.
• Contribute to speaker programs, collect insights, and support clinical trials activities.
