Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) for the CNS portfolio. This field-based role engages key scientific stakeholders to deliver clinical, economic, and real-world evidence within a local ecosystem.

The MSL will collaborate across matrix teams, support ecosystem strategies, and cover multiple products as needed, traveling up to 70% to sites and meetings with KIs, LPLs and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or CNS-related Master’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant experience.
• Understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.
• Strong business acumen; aware of Otsuka’s model and market factors.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; able to resolve conflicts.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of time.

Responsibilities

• Contributes clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans.
• Builds relationships with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders and KDMs.
• Delivers disease-state and healthcare landscape information to customers.
• Provides training on disease states and data to speakers.
• Supports clinical trials programs and health economics studies.
• Mentors peers and supports safety, training, and field medical initiatives.
