Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) specialized in CNS. This field-based role focuses on delivering clinical, scientific, and health economic information to key influencers and healthcare professionals within the ecosystem to improve patient outcomes.

The MSL will engage with KIs, LPLs, KDMs, and patient advocacy groups, tailoring regional medical strategies and contributing to trials and evidence generation; travel up to 70% is expected.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or equivalent CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Experience working with healthcare professionals and decision makers.
• Strong business acumen; able to identify solutions to improve patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to travel up to 70% of time.

Responsibilities

• Contribute a clinical and scientific perspective to the local execution plan and field activities.
• Build and cultivate relationships with scientific and medical customers within the territory.
• Develop deep understanding of the ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Provide evidence-based information on clinical, economic, and humanistic value.
• Mentor peers and support training and Center of Excellence activities.
• Assist with clinical trials and health economics/outcomes research.
