Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) for CNS to advance an ecosystem-based engagement model.

The role coordinates across medical, patient access, marketing and market access to deliver evidence-based information and improve patient care within local healthcare systems. Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master's degree with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Strong business acumen; knows the industry, Otsuka's business model and value proposition, key competitors, and other marketplace factors/dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ecosystem strategic business plan and identify key stakeholders vital to the ecosystem.
• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information related to CNS disease states and product utilization within the ecosystem.
• Engage with KIs, LPLs, healthcare providers, and patient groups to improve patient outcomes.
• Customize the region business strategy to meet local ecosystem needs and manage medical/educational requirements.
• Cover multiple products within CNS and engage in broad clinical and scientific discussions impacting patient care.
• Build and cultivate external relationships with key scientific/medical customers and organizations within the territory.
• Deliver on business objectives beyond the territory and provide evidence-based value of Otsuka's products.
• Provide credible evidence-based information and collaborate with providers and stakeholders to apply real-world solutions to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist with clinical trials programs (registrational, post-marketing, ISTs) and health economic outcomes research; advise on site performance.
• Support Safety & Pharmacovigilance, Sales Training medical education, and Field Medical Center of Excellence activities.
