Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis, MD is seeking an experienced software reverse engineer with a current Top-Secret/SCI clearance to join a technically strong team. The role focuses on reverse engineering, debugging, and identifying software defects, with an emphasis on researching open-source vulnerabilities and developing methods to detect if running software is vulnerable.

Fifteen years of reverse engineering experience are required, with a four-year degree substitution option.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years' experience as a software reverse engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.

Description

Perform reverse engineering and debugging on existing software. Identify defects in software and provide ways to correct defects. Research open-source vulnerabilities related to software. Develop methods and techniques to identify if running software is vulnerable.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Fifteen (15) years' experience as a software reverse engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required skills:

• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools.

Desired skills:

• Experience developing software for embedded systems.
• Experience automating reverse engineering tasks.
