Erias Ventures in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Senior Software Reverse Engineer (C, C++, Python) to perform reverse engineering and debugging on existing software, identify defects, and research vulnerabilities.

The role requires fifteen years of reverse engineering experience and a current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance; a bachelor's degree may be substituted with four years of additional experience. The company offers extensive wealth, health, and happiness benefits.

Description

Perform reverse engineering and debugging on existing software. Identify defects in software and provide ways to correct defects. Research open-source vulnerabilities related to software. Develop methods and techniques to identify if running software is vulnerable.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Fifteen (15) years' experience as a software reverse engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required skills:

• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools.

Desired skills:

• Experience developing software for embedded systems.
• Experience automating reverse engineering tasks.
