Job summary

MFS Supply seeks a Woodworking & Finishing Technician to produce, modify, and finish cabinet components in small and large batches. The role uses CNC machinery, hand tools, and painting gear to meet customer specs with strict adherence to quality and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and experience in cabinet work or finishing, with the ability to learn new equipment and follow detailed instructions while lifting substantial weight as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in cabinet construction, countertop fabrication, manufacturing, or finishing preferred.
• Ability to learn and safely operate CNC machinery, painting equipment, hand tools, and other production equipment.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 75 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to produce components per specifications and work instructions.
• Assemble, fabricate, grind, finish, and palletize countertops per customer specs.
• Operate commercial painting equipment and spray booths, including surface preparation and cleanup.
• Use hand tools and other production equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per 6S standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC, painting, and other equipment.
• Inspect products to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Carry out additional production tasks as assigned.
