Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and safely operate CNC machinery, painting equipment, hand tools, and other production equipment.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 75 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery to produce components per specifications and work instructions.
  • Assemble, fabricate, grind, finish, and palletize countertops per customer specs.
  • Operate commercial painting equipment and spray booths, including surface preparation and cleanup.
  • Use hand tools and other production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per 6S standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC, painting, and other equipment.
  • Inspect products to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Carry out additional production tasks as assigned.

Position Summary

The Woodworking & Finishing Technician is responsible for producing, modifying, and finishing cabinet, countertop, and related components in both small- and large-batch production environments. This position operates CNC machinery, hand tools, countertop fabrication equipment, commercial painting equipment and spray booths. The Technician is responsible for completing work accurately and efficiently while following established work instructions, quality standards, safety procedures, and customer specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machinery to produce cabinet and other components in accordance with specifications and established work instructions.
  • Assemble, fabricate, grind, finish, and palletize countertops according to customer specifications.
  • Operate commercial painting equipment and spray booths, including proper surface preparation, application, and equipment cleanup.
  • Use hand tools and other assigned production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Modify, assemble, and finish cabinet and related components as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC, painting, and other assigned production equipment.
  • Inspect manufactured and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards, specifications, and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company 6S standards.
  • Safely operate all assigned equipment and follow company safety policies and procedures, including applicable OSHA requirements.
  • Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining established production and quality standards.
  • Participate in required meetings, training courses, and other company programs.
  • Carry out special projects and additional production tasks as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in cabinet construction, countertop fabrication, manufacturing, or finishing preferred
  • Ability to learn and safely operate CNC machinery, painting equipment, hand tools, and other production equipment.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more.
