Job Summary:

Sets up and operates CNC Turning Centers to machine metallic parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interprets sketches, routings, and specifications.
• Sets up, adjusts, verifies programming, and operates CNC turning machines.
• Detects malfunctions and out-of-tolerance dimensions.
• Reports process variations and assists with corrective adjustments.
• Operates multiple machines concurrently for efficiency.
• Maintains tolerances and finish specifications.
• Uses inspection equipment to verify work conformance.
• Performs preventive maintenance in coordination with Maintenance Department.
• Follows quality system work instructions and safety policies.
• Completes documentation accurately and maintains attendance.
• Contributes to team efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, with at least two years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read English, interpret sketches, and manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals and fractions.
• Reasoning ability to understand and carry out instructions.
