VAL-CO is seeking a Toolroom Journeyman at our Coldwater, Ohio facility. The role requires setting up and operating tool room machinery, including CNCs, and producing high-precision components to tight tolerances.

You will assemble dies and fixtures, read prints, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Applicants must have at least 4 years of machining or tool and die experience, strong understanding of tool steels, and the ability to program and run CNC machines.

Qualificações

• 4 years machining or tool and die experience, machine building/re-building, or approved schooling.
• Strong understanding of tool steel properties and heat-treating characteristics.
• Able to read standard component and assembly prints and understand symbols.

Responsabilidades

• Set-up and operate all tool room machinery including CNC without supervision.
• Produce and assemble machined components to print within ±0.0005" tolerance.
• Assemble dies, fixtures and jigs per assembly print.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
