Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Tool Crib Specialist in Wichita, KS to manage tool crib inventory and issue CNC tooling for machinists. You will pre-set and measure tools, maintain records, and ensure tools are organized and in good condition for efficient production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic machining knowledge, and the ability to work with precision instruments in a fast-paced shop environment. Some tooling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical machining certification is a plus.
• Prior CNC or tooling experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, organize, and issue cutting tools, inserts, holders and related supplies to machinists.
• Pre-set and measure CNC tools using presetters and precision equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track tool usage.
• Inspect tools for wear and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
• Keep tool crib organized and ready for production schedules.
• Collaborate with machinists and supervisors to reduce setup times.
