Job summary

BG Precision CNC Machine Shop and Assembly Production with BG Automation, LLC is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant with experience in CNC Lathe and/or Mill environments. The role involves ordering, organizing, monitoring, and reporting within the BG Tool Crib, ensuring accuracy and efficiency on the shop floor.

The position requires diligent inventory management, data entry into operations software, and collaboration with vendors and purchasing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Four years of manufacturing experience with familiarity with CNC machinery and tools.
• Tool Crib experience and Tool Crib Management Software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue tools, equipment or parts to workers and maintain records issued and returned.
• Inspect tools, equipment or parts for defects and wear and report damage or wear to supervisors.
• Input all required data into business operations software, purchasing, and receiving process requirements.
• Plan and conduct periodic inventories and report irregularities.
• Keep all parts clean and orderly in the proper locations.
• Lead in the identification of optimal tool crib software management tools for enhanced shop performance.
