Innova Solutions in Richardson, TX is seeking a CNC Technician for a contract-to-hire role to manufacture precision optics and components. Shift options include 6:00 AM–3:30 PM or 2:00 PM–11:30 PM.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of machine maintenance experience and is skilled with optical CNCs, surface quality standards, and metrology data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machine maintenance experience.
• Experience with optical manufacturing CNC machines.
• Experience with surface quality standards and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision optics and optical components.
• Read and interpret optical component drawings/specs including GD&T; interpret interferograms, CMM reports and other metrology data.
• Independently set up and operate polishing equipment, lathes, fly cutters, and other manual/CNC machines.
• Perform bi-weekly maintenance on polishing machines.
• Use advanced testing equipment such as interferometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering and technicians.

Job Description

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a CNC Technician

Position type: Full Time, Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Richardson, TX, 75081

Shifts: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM OR 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM

As a CNC Technician you will:

• Manufacture precision optics and optical components.
• Read and interpret optical component drawings/specs including GD&T. Interpret interferograms, CMM reports, and other metrology data.
• Independently set up and operate polishing equipment, lathes, fly cutters, and other manual/CNC machines.
• Perform bi-weekly maintenance on polishing machines.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Machine maintenance experience of 3 or more years.
• Repair and maintenance of Optical Manufacturing (Cutting) CNC machines
• Experience with surface quality standards and inspection.

Pay Range*: $27.74/hr to $29.96/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
