Job summary

Bocar US, Inc. is seeking a CNC Technician in Tanner, AL to perform setup and changeovers on 5‑axis horizontal mills. You will load/unload tools, swap fixtures, and run NC programs, staying at the machine to assist until first piece verification, then supporting operators as needed.

Qualified candidates have at least two years in manufacturing, strong communication, and teamwork skills, plus high school diploma with technical training. The role emphasizes safety and 5S compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeovers on 5‑axis horizontal mills.

• Stage tooling, including heat‑shrink loading, balancing and pre‑setting length.
• Provide support at the machine and ensure first piece verification.

Job description

Bocar US has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Technician. The technician will perform setup/changeovers on 5‑acis horizontal mills. A setup will require the technician to load/unload tools, change out fixtures, and run the NC program. The technician will remain at the machine assisting the operator until first piece verification. After production has begun, the technician may need to assist the operator with any issues they have. The technician will also be required to stage the tooling for each job. Staging will include loading the tools with heat‑shrink equipment, balancing, and pre‑setting the length.
