Northeast Tool & Manufacturing, a precision aerospace shop, seeks a CNC Machinist - Technical Lead to lead hands-on setup and multi-axis work on 2nd shift with growth toward formal supervision. You will guide CNC Machinists, optimize tooling, and drive quality and productivity in a disciplined manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with CNC machining experience; precision, tight-tolerance machining preferred.
• Experience setting up and machining complex, tight-tolerance components on multi-axis CNC milling/turning platforms.
• Strong understanding of CNC processes, tooling, workholding, feeds/speeds, tolerances and GD&T.
• Experience guiding, mentoring and supporting CNC Machinists and operators on the shop floor.
• Proficient with precision measurement and inspection equipment; ERP/MRP systems experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead 2nd shift CNC Machinists, performing setup, operation, troubleshooting, tooling optimization and guidance.
• Coordinate daily production, set priorities, monitor workflow to meet delivery, quality and schedules.
• Provide technical coaching and mentorship to improve skills and drive continuous improvement.
• Support machining operations with process improvements, controls and inspection methods.
• Act as shift communications hub, ensure smooth handoffs and adherence to quality systems.
