Top Echelon LLC in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with a strong 5-axis background to set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines with minimal supervision. The role includes inspecting parts and maintaining productivity during heavy workloads, with 2nd shift hours from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Responsibilities include selecting tools, setting feeds and speeds, and troubleshooting controllers.

Qualifications

8–10 years of CNC machining (Lathe) experience in 3- and 4-axis setup and operation.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Aerospace background preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-axis) according to blueprint specifications.
Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.
Select appropriate tools and set feeds and speeds to meet production requirements.
Perform inspections of machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality standards.
Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
Lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machinery.
Monitor inventory and reorder tools as necessary.
