Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss-Type Setup & Programmer in Redlands, CA. You will program, set up, and operate Star CNC Swiss-type machines to produce high-precision components with close tolerances.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of CNC programming and setup experience, reads blueprints, and can work with minimal supervision while complying with ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience setting up and programming CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience as a qualified CNC setup person.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and setup sheets.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, speeds, and feeds.
• Experience checking precision-machined parts and adjusting work offsets.
• Experience with ISO quality policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Star CNC Swiss-type machines and manufacturing cells.
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, work instructions, and control documents.
• Develop CNC programs using G-Code; select tools and set cutting parameters.
• Perform machine setups and document setup procedures for production jobs.
• Train others on proper machine setup and operation.
• Inspect machined parts and adjust offsets to meet specs.
• Coordinate setups and production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Monitor schedules and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

CNC Swiss-Type Setup & ProgrammerPay: $35.00–$45.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–FridayJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Redlands, CAWork Location: In PersonPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss-Type Setup & Programmer to join our manufacturing team.
