Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a CNC Swiss Set Up Operator I to set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce precision components according to specifications. The role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

You will assist in machine setup, read engineering drawings, monitor processes, perform basic maintenance, and adhere to safety protocols in a onsite facility in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC Swiss machines for production runs and load materials.
• Interpret drawings, models, and specifications for machining requirements.
• Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce parts with tight tolerances.
• Learn basic CNC programming and edit small programs as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep machines clean and organized.
• Monitor processes and adjust as directed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect machined parts with precision instruments to verify specs.
• Troubleshoot issues and suggest process improvements.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work area.
