Job summary

Htprof seeks an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist for a 1st shift, full-time role with a temp-to-hire pathway. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, with aerospace background preferred, and a proven ability to read blueprints and set up sophisticated Swiss lathe equipment.

Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC Star Swiss Lathes; performing first piece and in-process inspections; and executing G-code edits and tool changes while maintaining machine health.

Qualifications

• Reads and studies blueprints and customer specifications to setup, operate and adjust CNC Star Swiss Lathes.
• G-code edit experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Aerospace experience preferred if available.

Responsibilities

• Setup machines to achieve full capabilities.
• Perform setup, operation, and adjustments on CNC Star Swiss Lathes.
• Inspect self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process).
• Perform inspections using gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Change offsets and tools; perform G-code edits and preventative maintenance.

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Swiss Lathe Machinists and is a DP positionwith our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need 3 + years of experience ; Aerospace experience preferred.

Job Description :

• Reads and Studies Blueprints and Customer Specifications to best perform Setup, Operations and Adjustments of CNC Star Swiss Lathes. G-Code edit experience is a plus.
• Performs Inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process)
• Candidates will perform Inspection of their produced parts using Gauges, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
• Responsible for Changing Offsets and Tools, Performing G-Code Edits and Preventative Maintenance of Machines
• Candidate is required to Setup Machines to achieve their full capabilities.

Requirements

• 2 Years: Setup Experience | 2 Years: Swiss Lathe Machines
• Tool Making Experience (Preferred)
• Ability to work Independently and in a Team Environment
