Job summary

International Stone Inc. in Boston/Woburn, MA, is seeking a Mid-Level CNC Machine Operator for on-site work. You will set up, program, and run CNC and waterjet machinery to cut and finish stone materials such as granite, marble, and quartz, while reading drawings and ensuring quality.

Responsibilities include loading materials, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with fabrication teams, all while following safety protocols in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Mid-level CNC operating experience in stone fabrication or countertop manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with granite, marble, quartz or quartzite.
• Knowledge of CNC setup, operation, tooling and cutting processes.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, templates and measurements.
• Understanding of safe stone-handling and fabrication procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery for cutting, shaping, drilling, and profiling stone materials.
• Set up and monitor CNC and waterjet cutting equipment to fabrication requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, templates, specifications, and measurements.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and cutting parameters for accuracy.
• Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate with fabrication team to maintain efficient workflow.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
