Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a field service engineer to diagnose, repair, modify, and test Mitsubishi Sinker EDM products at customer sites across the United States. The role travels 100% of the time, primarily within the U.S., with some international assignments and on-site support at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Two-year electronic or technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with electrical measurement tools (voltmeter, oscilloscope, and related test equipment).
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code/M-code).
• Strong written and verbal communication; thrives in a fast-paced team setting.
• Extensive travel required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer locations to diagnose complex issues and complete on-site repairs.
• Disassemble, rebuild, and align mechanical and electrical machine components as needed.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and technical guidance by phone.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers at every step.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze root causes and resolve faults.
• Capture detailed records of problems found, corrective actions, and parts used.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
