Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a CNC Shop Supervisor to lead a high-precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC Lathe machines, manage daily department workflow, enforce safety policies, and drive on-time production while coaching staff.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, blueprint interpretation, and a hands-on presence on the shop floor, with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in CNC programming, CNC operation, and machining with ability to read blueprints.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities for team development.
• Active shop floor presence for ~2/3 of the shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining productivity.
