Job summary

Crane Company seeks a CNC Set-up operator to set up CNC machines, manufacture parts and inspect outputs to blueprint specs. You will initiate TPM, choose fixtures, apply tool offsets, and perform first piece inspections to ensure quality.

Lifting up to 50 lbs and operating forklifts/reach trucks are required as part of daily tasks. Preferred experience includes CNC training and prior CNC work (Mazak, Okuma, manual lathe/mill).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read measuring instruments and verify specifications.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders and loading CNC programs.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and safe handling of parts up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Start CNC machine and perform TPM procedures.
• Select/install fixturing per posted schedule.
• Perform tool offsets and adjust as needed.
• Pull inspection sheet and perform first piece inspection per blueprint.
• Understand tool offsets to ensure part quality and specs.
