Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a CNC Set-up Operator in the United States. You will set up CNC machines, manufacture parts, and inspect each piece to ensure it meets blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities include selecting fixturing, performing tool offsets, and conducting TPM procedures. Candidates should read blueprints, operate forklifts, and work with Fanuc controls; prior CNC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50lbs without assistance; team lift for heavier items.
• Must read measuring instruments (tape, height gauge, angle gauges, calipers) to verify specs.
• Material handling with forklifts/reach trucks; manual loading/unloading up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills to pull blueprints, enter orders, and load CNC programs.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls required.

Responsibilities

• Start CNC machine and perform TPM procedures; adjust as needed.
• Select and install appropriate fixturing for the part per posted schedule.
• Perform tool offsets and adjust as required.
• Pull inspection sheet and blueprint; perform first piece inspection per procedures.
• Understand tool offsets to ensure part quality and blueprint spec.
