Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a CNC Set-up operator to set up CNC machines, manufacture parts and inspect workmanship per blueprints. You will start the machine, apply TPM procedures, and verify first-piece parts.

Candidate should have a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read measuring tools, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Fanuc controls. CNC experience with Mazak and Okuma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must read measuring instruments to verify specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; team lift for heavier parts.
• Basic computer skills to pull blueprints and load CNC programs.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls required.

Responsibilities

• Start CNC machine and perform TPM procedures, adjust as needed.
• Select and install appropriate fixturing for the part per schedule.
• Perform tool offsets and adjust as required.
• Pull inspection sheet and blueprint for the part and perform first piece inspection.
• Understand tool offsets to ensure part quality and blueprint specs.
