Job summary

Crane Company seeks a CNC Set-up operator to set up CNC machines, manufacture parts, and inspect parts to blueprint specifications. Responsibilities include selecting fixturing, executing TPM procedures, and performing first-piece inspections with tool offsets.

The role requires reading gauges, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Fanuc controls, with preferred CNC/Mazak, Okuma, and manual milling/lathe experience. This is an on-site manufacturing position in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read measuring instruments (tape, height gauge, calipers) to verify specifications.
• Basic computer skills to pull blueprints, enter orders, and load CNC programs.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines and perform TPM procedures.
• Select and install appropriate fixturing per schedule.
• Perform tool offsets and adjust as needed.
• Retrieve inspection sheets and conduct first-piece inspection per blueprints.
