Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a CNC Set-Up I to load preset CNC programs, perform minor adjustments, and produce compliant parts following established work instructions and quality standards.

The role requires basic inspection, routine machine maintenance, and the ability to read instructions while collaborating with a diverse team in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma preferred with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• One (1) year relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Familiarity with basic CNC program structure, G and M code concepts, and CAD/CAM outputs.
• Understanding of GD&T and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic CNC machine set-up by loading preset CNC programs and making minor, approved adjustments.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable product per work instructions and safety/quality requirements.
• Perform basic in-process inspection and record results; notify defects or deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments (offsets, taper) and routine maintenance like changing coolants and lubricants.
• Stack and transport product using manual and powered equipment.
• Keep work area, machines, tools and equipment clean.
