Job summary

CoorsTek Inc. is seeking a CNC Set-Up I to perform basic CNC machine set-up and operation, loading preset programs, and making approved adjustments to ensure quality production according to established processes.

The role requires basic math, GD&T understanding, and the ability to learn CAD/CAM outputs used in production. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One (1) year relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic CNC machine set-up by loading preset CNC programs and minor adjustments.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce output per work instructions and quality requirements.
• Perform basic in-process inspection and report defects or deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance like changing coolants and filters.
• Stack and transport product using hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Maintain clean work area, machines, tools and equipment.
