Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a CNC Set-Up II to load, adjust, and create simple CNC programs. You will operate multi-axis CNC machinery, interpret drawings, and ensure quality through in-process inspection. Team-oriented work environment with emphasis on safety and precise production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Two years CNC manufacturing experience; three years preferred.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM programs and G&M codes.
• GD&T and SPC knowledge and blueprint reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-axis CNC set-up by downloading presets and adjusting or creating simple programs.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable product per work instructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine set-up and methods.
• Inspect parts for defects; document results and adjust as needed.
• Perform machine offsets, taper settings and basic PM such as coolant changes.
• Clean work area, machines, tools; train incoming Set-up personnel.
• Wear required PPE at all times in designated areas.
