Job summary

Anderson Express is seeking a CNC Setup & Process Optimization Machinist to join our shop in Muskegon, MI. You will set tools, touch off offsets, run changeovers, and coach operators for fast, accurate production. You’ll measure parts with calipers and micrometers and log time precisely.

Requirements include 2–3 years CNC operating experience and a high school diploma. Strong math and communication skills are essential; GD&T interpretation and basic CNC programming (G-code/M-code) are expected;

Qualifications

• 2–3 years CNC operating experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• GD&T interpretation and basic CNC programming (G-code/M-code) expected; Mastercam experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set tools and touch off; adjust offsets to spec.
• Execute fast, accurate changeovers for new jobs.
• Load and verify programs before production runs.
• Load/unload parts correctly and safely.
• Measure with calipers and micrometers; log time precisely.
• Partner with operators to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
