Qualifications

• Advanced CNC machining skills with workholding and fixtures.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges.
• Knowledge of G/M codes and editing machine programs.
• Good communication and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings/prints, including tolerances and finishes.
• Set up CNC equipment and load/unload machining processes.
• Use micrometers and calipers to verify part quality.
• Edit machine programs and upload/download programs to machines.
• Instruct operators and address issues such as tool wear.
• Complete setup sheets and paperwork; track serial numbers.
• Keep workspace clean and safe; participate in risk assessments.
• Overtime as required; communicate with supervisor and management.
