Brasstech is seeking a CNC Machinist/Set Up to support a production-paced environment in the Machine Shop. You will set up CNC lathes, mills, and manual machines and transfer programs to various CNC equipment while inspecting parts to print and maintaining setup procedures.

The role requires reading drawings, basic math, and the ability to work across shifts, including weekends. Prior experience with CNC mill/lathe setup and tool changes is essential.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess experience with CNC mill and lathe setup.

Mansioni

• Set up CNC lathes, mills, and manual machines for production jobs.
• Maintain and update setup procedures for critical processes.
• Work from blueprints, routings and tooling to hold tolerances.
• Transfer programs to CNC machines with computer skills.
• Inspect parts to print, including dimensional and visual checks.
• Complete job documentation and shop floor paperwork.
• Train and mentor less experienced machinists on setup.
• Run more than one machine when cycle time allows.
